An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a formal safety inspection of a property's fixed wiring, carried out to the BS 7671 wiring regulations. It identifies deterioration, damage or dangerous conditions and tells you exactly what — if anything — needs putting right.

Your report classifies any issues using standard codes. The inspection is only "satisfactory" with no C1, C2 or FI items:

Private landlords in England must have a valid EICR at least every 5 years, and provide a copy to tenants and, on request, the local authority.
If any C1 or C2 codes are found we'll explain what's needed and provide a fixed quote for the remedial work — which our own engineers can carry out, then re-issue a satisfactory certificate.
